FEMALE DRUG USERS IN PRISON AND AFTER RELEASE.
A five-country follow-up study in Europe on relapse prevention.
This publication is based upon a condensed version of the final report of an ongoing
European research project on female drug users in European prisons. The first part of the study focussed on a cross-sectional investigation of the current situation of female drug users in European prisons. The second part of the project, which is the basis of this
publication, was mainly directed at a follow-up of female drug users after prison release.
This project was conducted between November 2005 and December 2006 and had been funded by the AGIS 2006 programme (project number: JAI/2005/AGIS/072).
